My first exhibition in over 18 months! It was great to be back at Confex at London Excel. Usually one of the biggest and busiest exhibitions in the UK. Not this year. Visitor numbers were severely hit.
I made sure to walk around the whole exhibition space.
What I saw was fairly ridiculous!

Derren Brown’s recent show ‘Miracle’ in London was absolutely amazing. By the time I experienced it, he had been there for a few months, performing sell-out shows every night to around 1,400 people. The whole show was incredible. Derren is a remarkable performer and the audience loved him and the show.

Mat Franco on America’s Got Talent
Something very important happened in America on Wednesday that should cause shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Did Miley Cyrus cover herself up? Did Kim Kardashian do something of note? No. Mat Franco, a close up magician, won America’s Got Talent.

Performing magic in china
At the beginning of September, I flew out to China after being invited to perform and lecture at the 2nd International Festival of Magic in Beijing. With around 40 stage magicians, illusionists and close up magicians booked from around the world, it was incredible experience and a chance to catch up with friends made over the years from USA to Australia and many congeries in between.
I performed one of my own creations that enabled me to communicate with the audience in Chinese without saying a word! Magic is a truly universal art form.
